TRISH VAILLANCOURT
|
I have been sketching and painting using various mediums since childhood. To move the viewer is the main goal of my paintings. Although my training began in commercial art I have developed a love for watercolor.
Inspiration comes from my love of animals and landscapes which surround my home or the lush shores of Lake Champlain. For the past 15 years I have attended numerous workshops and classes and for the last 10 years have devoted my attention to crafting my skills further as a student of Vermont watercolorist Kathleen Berry Bergeron. My second love is textiles in the form of costume design and enjoy creating Renaissance and 18th century period clothing. My studio is located at my home on Maquane Shore with my husband Glenn, four dogs and a flock of laying hens. My work is presently on exhibit at Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, Vermont. |
