JDESIGNS ART WEAR
The magic of fiber art is discovering that my completed project is more beautiful that I had envisioned. I enjoy spinning angora from my French angora rabbits, to knit or to weave, along with fine wools, silk, cotton and bamboo. I combine natural fibers in knitted or woven garments to create exciting colors and interesting textures with a touch of sparkle. Wrap yourself or someone special in a unique work of Art to Wear. I raise American Singer Canaries for their song and French Angora Rabbits for their luxurious colorful fiber. I use Japanese indigo that I grow from seed to dye my hand plucked angora with fresh indigo leaves. I also paint on canvas and carve wood. I particularly love portraits of people and animals. I have created 'Whimsical Expressions' of Vincent Van Gogh, Marilyn Monroe and Yoda, Mermaids, Angels, Green Man, Wood Nymph, Roseate Spoonbill, Rainbow Trout and Great Horned Owls. You can see my latest work on 'JDesigns Art Wear' Facebook page and at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St Albans, Vermont. For more information please contact me at
