A native of Vermont, Donna lives in St. Albans is married and has two grown children and two grandchildren.
She learned to knit at an early age and over the years has honed her considerable design talent even further. Donna uses an array of stunning colors, very special touches and artistic skills in her hand knit cowls, infinity scarves and wraps. Her hand knit gnomes are one of her most noted items, she designs a new grouping every month with a distinct theme. Unique buttons and innovative embellishing techniques set these hand knit creations apart. In 2005 Donna became fascinated with the art of felting. For more than a decade she designed and created over three hundred original, one-of-a kind hand knit and felted fiber art hand bags. Now she uses her felting expertise in designing original bowls in a variety of shapes and sizes, with "mini" bowls being her favorite. In July 2016 Donna introduced Pebble Art to her artistry and was featured on the WCAX segment MADE IN VERMONT in September of the same year. She spends hours at the beach searching for just the perfect pebbles, shells, beach glass, twigs, driftwood and other found objects to tell the perfect story. By maintaining simplicity, Donna creates powerful imagery that has a different impact on each individual viewer. Her art is framed under glass, titled and signed. Memberships include
