WENDY EVERHART
|
Wendy was introduced and began her journey with clay in 1972 at a summer camp in the Adirondacks. Her senior year in high school she won a scholarship to a ceramic school in the West Village of NYC. At a fork in the road of careers she followed a professional life apart from art, but never gave up her love of clay. After moving to Vermont in 1981 she was a member of Burlington City Arts, and the Shelburne Craft School for many years. In 2019 she worked as a TA at the UVM pottery studio in the the Living and Learning Center, which unfortunately ended with the pandemic.
Wendy now makes her home and studio in Grand Isle, Vermont. She specializes in functional stoneware pottery. It is a small home solo studio that she shares with her two rescue dogs Roxy and Kora. Wendy can be contacted at [email protected], or 802-238-4299. |
