Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our capital campaign to purchase the building. There were many people doing numerous tasks to accomplish this goal. The extra time our members put in has not gone unnoticed and has paid off. I believe that we presented an ambitious and attainable set of goals for the mission for our gallery. I am very pleased to say that on June 9, we closed on the purchase the building. The Artist In Residence 501c3 nonprofit gallery is now the proud owner of the space the gallery occupies .
Thank you so much to the members of the community and to all of the Gallery members for all of your contributions and hard work. We look forward to more future projects with you.

![]() In our continued efforts to support local artists and community art lovers, to enrich businesses and families in our area, the Artist In Residence Gallery has been approved for a commercial loan by Peoples Trust Co. and has begun a Capital Campaign to purchase our building, which is currently owned by the City of Saint Albans. The city has presented us with an opportunity to acquire the property. After being in St. Albans for almost three years, we are excited to embark on this new venture.
The Artist In Residence Gallery is run by our forty-five local artist members. In addition to unique gifts and decorative items, we provide education and cultural enrichment to members of the community, as well as an appealing space in which artists can exhibit and sell their work. We offer monthly receptions which are open to the public and support engaging informal learning and conversation among artists, area residents, and tourists. We also offer classes, workshops, and other services. Please consider supporting our $29,000 Capital Campaign to fund the down payment on the building. Your gift at any level would be greatly appreciated. You may donate by check or credit card or click on the donate button below. Please note that we are a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 22-3945464). We will formally recognize your donation. Thank you for considering our invitation to participate in this project. |
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE![]() (04-09-19) We are pleased to announce that we have, as of today, reached the goal of raising $29,000 for the down payment in order to purchase the building. Thank you to the entire community, our friends, family, fans, and followers! We couldn’t have done it without each of you! We would like to acknowledge and applaud our members’ demonstration of courage and vision in taking this challenge on and seeing it through.
