KAREN MULKEY
I fell in love with jewelry making during college many years ago. Fast forward 30 years, I am now retired after working in marketing and community partnerships for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, I realized my love for jewelry making still exists. So, I have recently begun my jewelry making journey again with the help of a wonderful teacher/artist, Jolynn Santiago. My work started with a simple design, round shape, then progressed to geometric shapes then unto organic shapes. Not only did I explore shapes, I experimented with different techniques such as piercing, sweat soldering and impressions. I love the creative process using metals.
